We Did It Again. And No, It Wasn't an Accident.
Voxie has been named one of Inc.'s Best Workplaces for 2026 for the second year running.
Last year, the honor made us proud. This year, with a second one in hand, we'll admit to something closer to certainty, because a one-time recognition is a nice moment while back-to-back recognition starts to look like a pattern. And patterns aren't luck. They're built.
So before we get to the thank-yous, and there are plenty coming, we want to say the part we actually believe: this culture isn't an accident. We built it on purpose, because the best outcomes demand the best team, and ours happens to be the best at both what they do and who they are.
Why We Keep Showing Up on This List
It would be easy to chalk a repeat win up to momentum, but we'd rather be honest about the work behind it.
Great workplaces aren't held together by perks. They're held together by the unglamorous stuff: trust that lets people own their work, respect that survives a hard conversation, and a shared understanding of what we're building and why. We protect those things deliberately: in how we run meetings, how we give people room to think, and how we keep our doors (and our Slack channels) open whether you've been here four weeks or four years.
This year we also let the data speak, and the results told the same story we hear every day: people here genuinely like working here. A 91.7% employee retention rate isn't a vanity number. It's what happens when people are trusted, challenged, and actually enjoy the people they build with.
A Big Year for the Work, Too
A great place to work has to be a place where great work gets done, and the last year gave us plenty of proof.
We perfected Franchise Hub, bringing the entire franchise system under one roof and giving brands performance visibility they'd never had before. Then we pushed our intelligence layer deeper, training Voxie Intelligence on over a billion texts to surface the conversations closest to revenue. We shipped, we iterated, and we did it as a team.
That's the connection we never lose sight of: when people love where they work, our customers feel it. They get a team that's energized to tackle hard problems, push for better answers, and show up with new ideas, every single day.
A Note From Our CEO, Adam Waid
"Franchises are the cornerstone of America. They turn hard work into ownership and help thousands of people live out the dream of running their own business. At Voxie, our job is to be the best partner those brands have, honoring the effort that runs from the corporate office all the way down to the experience a customer has at the counter. We can only do that with a team that cares as much as our customers do.
This recognition isn't really about us. It's about the people who make Voxie worth betting on, and the brands who trust us to help them grow."
Adam Waid, CEO
In Their Own Words
Don't take our word for it. Here's what the team has to say:
"These have been some of the most fulfilling years of my career. Everyone here owns what they do, and because we all wear a few different hats, we actually understand the whole business, not just our corner of it. And the people? Endlessly generous with their time and what they know."
Kelsey Livingston, Head of Finance and Operations
"Working at Voxie is like being on the most fun, most capable task force you've ever joined. We take on real challenges, we laugh constantly, and we make a genuine difference for great clients, all on schedules that actually fit real life. It's meaningful, it's a little ridiculous in the best way, and it is never boring."
Shane Welch, VP of Customer Experience
"This is a rewarding place to work because of who you're surrounded by: smart, driven people who are wired to help each other and make sure our customers win.
What you’ll see in Voxie is a team that is constantly coming up with ideas on how to make our customers’ lives easier, huddling on the “next big thing,” or collaborating through all departments."
Tim Hitchner, VP of Product
"I've worked remotely before, but I've never felt this connected to a team this fast. We share a vision, we all know what we're building and why, and the way departments pull together here is rare. Our CEO assembled a team of humans, not robots, and you feel it every day."
Nate Bartlett, Senior Account Executive
"Working here feels like teams of teams. It's a genuinely supportive place where we move toward shared goals, for our customers and for each other, built by good people with good intentions, day after day."
John Laswell, Engineering
"I've gotten to build market-shaping features here and watch them land with real brands. What makes it worth it is the people I build alongside: talented professionals from all over, plus the tools and autonomy to actually turn an idea into something that ships."
Seba Putrino, Product Management
"What makes Voxie special is simple: people here care, about the work, about our customers, and about each other. Everything we build, we build together. You're trusted to test ideas, speak openly, and own your role, and that freedom is what makes the difference. I've become a sharper communicator and a better listener because of the people around me."
Ali Spiric, Marketing Manager
To Our Team: This One's Yours, Again
To the people who show up, speak up, build each other up, and make Voxie what it is every single day: thank you. Two years on this list isn't a streak we stumbled into; it's a reflection of you.
Here's what we'll keep being: a place that bets on its people, because we've seen what the best team can do when you give them the trust and the room to do it. That's not changing. If anything, we're doubling down.
This is who we are. This is what to expect from us.
